WHO: A program for Undocumented youth, by Undocumented youth. Undocumented students with or without DACA in Southern Arizona can apply.
WHAT: Through a five-day series of workshops, ISH empowers students to tell their stories, learn how to use their lived experiences to expand their education and employment options, and ultimately advocate for their Undocumented community. Students leave ISH with the support networks, community resources and confidence to apply to college, jobs, and more.
WHY: Approximately 2,000 Undocumented youth graduate from Arizona high schools every year, with most lacking the institutional support, guidance, and supportive network they deserve. This is why our work as an educational equity organization is more critical than ever. We are re-envisioning post-secondary educational pathways that honor the knowledge, resilience, and power of Undocumented youth.
What will participants gain?
Higher education and career options for in and beyond Arizona
Strategies to pay for college
